Elizabeth Byrne-Chartrand has been a partner with Anderson Byrne LLC in Saratoga Springs, New York since 2009. Ms. Byrne was born and raised in Saratoga Springs and has a strong community knowledge base. She practices extensively in residential and commercial real estate throughout upstate New York, representing purchasers, sellers, banks, landlords and tenants. Ms. Byrne has successfully represented thousands of clients in real estate transactions throughout the greater capital district.

Ms. Byrne also focuses her practice on litigation matters, including general business litigation, real property disputes, business torts, title disputes and breach of contract disputes. Ms. Byrne also advises several small and medium sized businesses with regard to corporate transactions. Her business spans from Albany, New York to the North Country.

Prior to joining Anderson Byrne LLC, Ms. Byrne was a litigation attorney with the international law firm, Nixon Peabody, in Albany, New York where she focused on a variety of complex business litigation matters. Before returning to the capital district, Ms. Byrne was an attorney with the international law firm, Paul Hastings, and worked out of both the Connecticut and California offices focusing on business and employment litigation matters. Ms. Byrne also clerked for Justice Joette Katz in the highest court in Connecticut just after graduating from law school where she drafted numerous civil and criminal opinions for the justices of the Court.

Ms. Byrne graduated from Cornell University in 1997 where she was an Academic All American tennis player. She graduated from Connecticut Law School in 2000, with honors, and was an editor for the Connecticut Law Review. She is admitted to practice in New York State courts, the Northern District of New York, California and Connecticut.
